Soup Season

When the weather starts cooling off, I start thinking about soups immediately. Chicken Tortilla Soup goes well whether you're eating alone, fixing a weeknight family dinner, or have a bunch of guests over. It's one of my favorites!

This soup is hearty, filling, and can be stretched further than you could ever imagine. The stretching becomes a little easier when you make something like these sweet potato tortilla chips available to everyone around your table.

When Food Should Taste Good asked me to work with them on some posts inspired by their products, I got pretty excited! I am a real chip eater and I'm always looking for the "perfect" tortilla chip.

I'll be honest, these chips sounded a little strange and the first few bites were a little strange, but I think the hint of sweetness makes them a great addition to this soup. The sweetness tones down the spiciness which is always a good thing in my book!

They're perfect for dipping. Or crunching up right into your soup. I even found myself having them by themselves. Next up is trying them out with some salsa.

In the meantime, soup season is here and Food Should Taste Good has seen to it that the chip horizons have continued to expand.

If sweet potato tortilla chips don't sound like they're for you, that's not a problem! Food Should Taste Good has a product line with all kinds of varieties. There is sure to be one that you'll love!

  2. Yum! All of that sounds amazing! Now, if it'd stop being in the 80s here, we'd really be in soup business. :)

  3. I LOVE chicken tortilla soup!! My husband can't handle spicy food, so I always make it for myself if he isn't home for dinner. The sweet potato chips sound good too :-)
