What To Expect In A Julep Mystery Box

Tuesday, March 17, 2015

When I hear about subscription services, I'm always curious about what kinds of products are included. I never tire about seeing what people have received and how satisfied they are with the company that sent the box!

Today I'm giving you another little peek into Julep! For the month of March they had a box available for each of their style profiles as well as a couple of mystery options. If you've ever wondered what a Julep Mystery Box looks like, this post is for you!

When I opened this box, I was amazed at what they included!!! Five of the six polishes came with the box and the sixth polish was an add on that I chose before the box was shipped.

From left to right you see: Sharma from the It Girl Collection, Beth from the Bombgirl Collection, Ilga from the Classic With A Twist Collection, Candace from the It Girl Collection, Dawn from the It Girl Collection, and Lulu from the Classic With A Twist Collection.

I wore Lulu on my nails all last week! It has a matte finish, so I chose to put Julep's Freedom Polymer Top Coat over it. It looks lavender in the bottle, but it's the perfect soft pink!

With the exception of Dawn, I'm super excited to try out all of the other polishes! Candace and Beth both caught my eye first, but the more I looked at the box I realized that this is my favorite Julep box so far!

I don't know if mystery boxes are always this awesome, but now you know what you can expect!

Julep always sends a few extras with their boxes. This month came with a 30% off coupon, a flyer, a quote card, and a couple of packages of Smarties (which were promptly eaten by my brother and sister)!

Take their style quiz and sign up for a free box today! You preview every box and have the option to opt in or out each month.

Julep's polishes are 5 free which means they don't contain the toxins that most other polishes contain!

Julep Friendsgiving Box

Thursday, November 20, 2014

When the November box was released, Julep had a special "build your own box" option.  So far, I've found that Julep has great customer service and makes getting products that you are sure to love super easy.

Customer service example: My first box came with a bottle of their Freedom Polymer Topcoat. I was getting ready to use it and I accidentally dropped it. It landed just right and BROKE. They offered to send me a brand new bottle free of charge. That's what I call customer service!

Getting products you love with ease example: The Friendsgiving Box. Is there even a better way to thank your customers than to offer to let them build a completely custom box? I don't think so!

The November box included:  "Sawyer" from the Boho Glam collection, "Marzia" from the It Girl collection, and "Devon" from the Classic With a Twist collection . I chose "Bonnie" as an add on.

They also included two little candies, a coupon, one of their little quote cards, and a couple of mini catalogs.

I tried Sawyer out first. It is one of those polishes that looks like different colors depending on the light. And I already know that I'll be layering Bonnie on top of EVERYTHING, all year long!

As always, Julep would like to offer a free trial box to you! Simply click HERE to take their style quiz and get started. I should note that they've just released the selections for their December boxes!

Julep Mystery Box

Thursday, November 06, 2014

Along with a monthly subscription service, Julep gives their customers some really great deals.

Last month, they chose ten special items and reduced their price to $10 each. I had my eye on their Mighty Cuticle Serum, but it was never in the box that I wanted and I couldn't see spending more than $10 on an item I wasn't sure I'd love.

When it went on sale, I jumped at the deal! With winter coming on, my cuticles are going to need a bit of help. And then came the "mystery box"....My Mom loves surprises, so she decided to add it to the cart as well!

The mystery box included...

Three polishes: "Nic" a deep red from the Bombshell collection, "Jet" a black from the It Girl collection, and "Layne" a sheer pink from the Classic With a Twist collection .

They also included a box of their Polish Remover Packets.

I'll admit, mystery boxes always scare me. I mean, what if I HATE everything in it?!?! But, I think that we were pleasantly surprised!

Let's Talk: Nail Polish

Thursday, October 02, 2014

Last month I told you all about Swagbucks...I don't know if you really understand what a great program it is, so without any deals with them or Julep, I've decided to tell you about one of my experiences with both companies.

I love painting my nails. I have a variety of colors ranging from dark reds and purples to shimery pinks and even turquoise. When I saw the opportunity to sign up for a Julep Maven subscription and receive some Swagbucks for it, I just had to give this subscription service a try!

If you're unfamiliar with Julep, they are a company that carries a wide variety of beauty products. My favorite thing about their nail polishes is that they are 5-free. Julep is probably most widely known for their monthly subscription service where their mavens receive nail polish and or beauty products.

After taking the style profile quiz, it was determined that my style is "classic with a twist". The great thing about being a maven is that you have the opportunity to preview the boxes and choose the one that best fits your tastes.

I took advantage of this preview period and found that the purple and gold polishes in the "bombshell" box caught my eye, so I opted for that one instead.

Even though I already knew what was going to be in my box, I couldn't wait to open it! They included a coupon, a style card complete with a quote on the back, and a pamphlet explaining their company.

I never knew a little purple box could make me so excited!

My "bombshell" box came with a Julep's "Freedom Polymer Top Coat", a beautiful purple called "Bette" , and a shimery gold called "Zelda".

I already know that I'm going to love them all and that "Zelda" will be a go-to during any season.

Julep offers their mavens a selection of discounted items that can be selected as add ons. I chose this deep purple called "Gayle" as an add on.

I'm grateful to Swagbucks and Julep for partnering together to offer this promotion! I couldn't report a more pleasing experience and I will be happy to recommend BOTH companies to all of my friends, starting with you!
