Blog It: Engageya

Blog It is a series dedicated to telling you about my favorite tools as a blogger. My hope for this series is that it will help you with your blogging! If you have any questions, feel free to ask. If you have a favorite resource, I'd love to hear about that too.

I found out about Engageya when I noticed it at the bottom of Amber's posts. I find it really helpful when bloggers make links to posts from their archives available because it gives readers a way to find things that interest them without having to click around a ton.

Sometime last year I started looking for a way to add this element to my own blog. Engageya finally caught my eye. After a little research, I decided that it would be worth trying out. Here's an example of the widget I created for my blog.

I chose Engageya because of their:

design - The circle option is what really caught my eye. If you're not into circles, that can be changed. Everything is super customizable!

compatability - This company works with Blogger, WordPress, and apparently there is java script compatible with any website.

loading time - My blog loads just as fast as it always has. This was really important to me and it has been a deal breaker with several other options.

settings - They allow you to decide where they will get the links as well as the time period.

customer service - I contacted their customer service department because I was having a few minor problems and someone worked with me until everything was exactly as I wanted it to be.

ease - Creating, setting up, customizing, and problem solving with Engageya was seriously the EASIEST thing I've ever done on my blog.

You might be interested in the advertising campaigns that Engageya offers. When you create your widget, they'll explain the advantages. I opted out of this option because it's not a good fit for me, but I thought I should tell you about it.
