Surely we've all heard of him. Here is something he wrote that I read today:

"The safest road to hell is the gradual one...the gentle slope, soft underfoot, without sudden turnings, without milestones, without signposts."

    You're right, Walter. I've never read Screwtape Letters...but if it's full of thoughts like that, I just might! When did you read it?

    I think we have that one, Sis. It was too odd for me...but then I have a hard time reading Lewis. Although, I love some of the quotes people have used of his!
